Qatar oil Wanhua sign a 10-year LPG long-term contract

Qatar oil company announced that it has signed a 10-year LPG supply agreement with Wanhua chemical group (Wanhua) to provide 800000 tons of LPG to Wanhua every year.

His Excellency Mr. Saad sheridah al qabi, President and chief executive officer of Qatar oil company, Minister of energy affairs, welcomed the signing and said: "the agreement reflects our marketing strategy of increasing direct sales of petroleum products to end users, especially in China. China's LPG market continues to grow steadily and is an important destination for Qatar's energy exports. We look forward to further consolidating our position in China's energy market, especially in the LPG market. "

The CEO added: "this signing further enhances the steady relationship we have built with Wanhua over the past few years. Wanhua is growing into one of the most important players in the LPG Industry, and we are honored to establish closer ties with Wanhua through this signing. "

Mr. Kou Guangwu, chief executive officer of Wanhua chemical group, expressed a similar view, saying: "this new agreement with Qatar oil further demonstrates how Wanhua can build a long-term and mutually beneficial partnership with our strategic suppliers. One belt, one road chemical manufacturer, will continue to work closely with Qatar oil to explore more opportunities to serve the "one belt and one way" strategy.

Wanhua chemical group is one of the largest polyurethane manufacturers in the world and one of the largest LPG users and importers in China. The company owns and operates state-of-the-art LPG terminals and tanks in Yantai port, and uses a large amount of LPG in its petrochemical plants, including the world's largest PDH and butane isomerization projects.
